Beta Reader Packages
Quillist’s Beta Reader services are designed to help authors and publishers understand how a manuscript is experienced by real readers before publication. Through carefully structured testing, selected readers evaluate key aspects of the story, including clarity, pacing, character engagement, narrative flow, and overall reader impact.
Each reader provides detailed responses based on a guided evaluation framework. These individual responses are then carefully analysed and compiled into a comprehensive Reader Insight Report. The report highlights patterns in reader reactions, identifies strengths within the manuscript, and reveals areas where the story may benefit from refinement.
Rather than simply collecting opinions, this process helps uncover meaningful trends in how readers engage with the story, providing a clear and accessible overview of how the manuscript resonates with its intended audience.
Every Beta Reader package includes this Reader Insight Report. The primary difference between packages is the size of the reader pool. Larger testing groups allow for broader audience sampling and stronger response patterns, offering deeper insight into how the manuscript may perform with readers.

When you hire our service, you will be getting a comprehensive report from our beta readers on your manuscript.

Standard delivery time is 3 weeks (21 days) starting from the day the payment is received.

We offer a fast-track service. You can fast-track your order to 2 weeks (14 days) for an additional 50% of your package price, or to 1 week (7 days) for an additional 75% of your package price.

Manuscripts with more than 80 000 words will incur a 5% fee for each additional 20 000 words. Such orders will have an additional 3 days added to their delivery time.

All orders must be paid in full before we can begin processing. Alternatively, a 50% deposit can be paid to begin processing your order, with the remaining 50% due before the expected delivery date.
